GENERAL INFORMATION AND TRAVEL CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION
Please read the following thoroughly. The information below has been made in point form and full details will be sent out on request. It is important to understand all conditions and regulations. This will ensure you are well prepared, and equipped, to make your trip a successful one.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Alcohol: In moderation,(No alcohol on Aboriginal Land, penalties apply)
Child in convoy: Minimum age of 8 years.
Medical: We take a comprehensive first aid kit. It is important you are in good health, and if you take any medication that you have enough to cover the duration of the tour. Your tetanus injection should be current. If you have any doubts, you should see your doctor to discuss them.
Vehicles: All convoy vehicles must be roadworthy. Due to the harshness of outback Australia, a 4WD vehicle is recommended. You should talk to your mechanic to make certain your vehicle is up to the task.

TRAVEL CONDITIONS
The Operator reserves the right to alter itineraries(e.g;timetables, dates, destinations, campsites, roads or tracks) without notice, due to weather, road closures or conditions, or any other reasons we consider necessary at the time.
No refunds will be considered on or after the day of departure; If a member wishes to leave the tour for any reason, he/she must incur the full cost of transport and associated costs to the destination of their choice. Due to the nature of our prospecting expeditions, we cannot guarantee exact arrival or departure times, or be held responsible for failure to make connecting services.

Recovery Gear-Breakdown Contingencies-UHF radio-GPS-Camping equipment-First Aid Kit-Sturdy Footwear-Food and Provisions-Fresh Water(enough for a minimum of 7 days)-Adequate and appropriate clothing-Credit cards/cash some remote fuel stops do not take credit cards-Fuel, enough for a 400km trip-Generators(operating conditions apply)-Quality vehicle jack-Spare Keys-Detector and accessories-Maps-Rubbish Bags(you are responsible for your own rubbish)-Cooking equipment stove etc-Safety equipment-All Camping equipment-Lighting including good torch with spare batteries-Spare tyres-spare parts for both vehicle and detector-Comprehensive Tool Kit-etc etc etc. To ensure you have a great time and a trouble free one it is important you do your homework before you leave home! And remember if you're not sure Ask Us. We want your trip to be one of the most memorable holidays you've ever had.

All Inclusive Requirements

Camping Equipment- Quality touring tents, swags and stretchers are all supplied. You need to bring a good quality sleeping bag,(plus a light blanket if you feel the cold), a pillow, Personal hygiene products, a 1 litre water bottle, hand held UHF (can be hired), GPS(can be hired), torch, Detector and accessories(can be hired), luggage should consist of a small day bag and a non rigid suitcase.
Showers and Chemical Toilets are erected at all Base Camps.
Hand clothes washing facilities are available.
We recommend you bring a sun hat, sun screen, fly net, insect repellent, a beanie and gloves(it can get very cold at night), wet weather gear, a camera to record your memories, and any medication you may require.
If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know, so as we can try to cater to your needs.
